Old School! Hand forged...

#1 Post by gundy » Fri May 15, 2009 8:15 pm

Just got this Camp/Butchers Bowie from Matt at ML Knives.

Hand forged 1095, 6.5" blade (approx 3/16" thick) with walnut handle and leather wrap. Razor sharp!

I really like these old school and 100% hand made tools!

...mate one thing is for sure - if there's any 'loppin' to be done I will be the one doing it!

I would not trust that old thing to cut the string for tying up my broad beans - When does that Kabar of yours arrive. Hopefully in time for the trip??

Ah "One knife one bow man".
Very nice looking knife.
I know someone who sounds like he'd wants it for himself.
Cheers TonyJ
