Very nice coach, im eventually planning to do something similar for a group of my mates who ive been camping with once every holidays since we were 13,

ever done engraving yourself ? i imagine it could be quite difficult ?
A smile is priceless, yet can make so much difference

yeah it is. takes practice to get as neat as te above. If you dont hold it steady it just runs off on you as the tip spins. i do a little bit of it at my work and my lines arnt anything to be proud of lol.
There's no adventure in knowing where you are.

One thing to remember is when making knives is to ask if there is engraving to be done if so get the required engraving done before hardening/tempering that way the engraving can be done a little easier and deeper.

As Jeff said
I'm sure the fella will be stoked with it mate.

True ,, I am just a little worried as after heat treating there is a lot of finishing to be done and wouldnt want to affect the engraving . I will try it one day on a knife that is my own .

Jesus, mate, that looks so good, like it should be in a magazine article, pics and all!
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!
