Scandinavian Puuko

#1 Post by UPTHETOP » Thu Sep 28, 2017 4:13 pm

Had a little spare time recently so bought a blank from creative man the other day it was there Polar 95 Hammer finish blank. Was impressed with there quality and price as well. It will probably end up in the camper trailer as a small kitchen all round camp knife. Woods are curly birch and ringed gidgee tail, with a red spacer and nickel bolster to the blade. The handle may look a little on the large side but that's the way it is when you have big hands. I should have put an red spacer between the curly birch and gidgee as this may of balanced the looks of the knife a little more. Took a few photos just after I oiled it with some orange oil, cheers enjoy.

Cheers Wayno
