First attempt at a hidden tang knife

1084 carbon steel with boiling vinegar patina. Tasmanian Blackwood and Buff horn handle, mosaic brass pin. 3 1/2" blade, 7" OA length. Sheath is 8 oz veg tanned leather with roo skin liner. The family crest belongs to the recipient who is getting this for birthday present.

Has come out nice Rod, had better make another trip up and fire the forge up need a throwing axe blade heated and treated, great leather work as well mate.

I have made a brother to the above blade. It is a gift for the son of the previous blade's owner. The Sgian Dubh has significance to these blokes due to their Scottish ancestry.
