Damascus Skinner

Well finally saved up enough dollars to buy an new Damascus skinner blank for the misses.
Not that she will be skinning anything with it as it will probably end up in the kitchen anyway.
I have one final sand with 1200 wet and dry to go.

The blank is a VG 10 Damascus steel skinner from Seki in Japan.
I have to thank a local mate Rod {Townsville} for cutting the G 10 scale blanks he gave me.
Have never used G 10 for scales before and found it easy to drill, shape and sand in the end.

Alright specs.
VG 10 Damascus Steel Skinner
197mm Length
2.8mm thickness
4mm stainless steel pins
Purple and black G10 scales

A few pics
Cheers Wayno
