A Roughy

Well it seems everyone is having a crack at making some type of blade latterly so thought I would have a crack at making a knife. A few days of cutting, sharpening and polishing with sore fingers and a lot of swearing here it is.

A mate gave me a 4mm stainless blank and off I went. Drew out a pattern some where between a small drop point camp knife but wanted to use it for skinning as well so this is what come out in the end. Only had a grinder, drill, sharpening stone and some sandpaper. You can probably tell from the quality of the finish but if ya got any of this gear at home that's all I used.

Will have to make a sheath now ?

4MM Stainless
total length 205mm
wood bit of conkerberry.

For a first she's a roughie.
