spacer ?

#1 Post by daniel boon » Tue Jan 15, 2013 9:19 pm

Going to dress up some old knives with some new handles. I like the look of the black, and red spacers on some of the knives. What material do you use for them, and whera can I get some?.
Thanks Dan

Black I use fiber glass strip from bow making but the red you get from the knife supply places.

I don't know much about knife suppliers but this might help http://www.knivesaustralia.com.au/. Kieth's a nice bloke and he's a local so no need to send your $ O.S.!
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!

Checked out knivesaustralia, but they don't have any listed, picked up some black from a plastics joint, had to take the whole offcut, about 1m x 1,5m -$10  Any red I can find is OS, and the shipping is 10x the cost of the product.

I've bought some bits and pieces from here. They sell the material you could make the Spacers from
