Hi fellas,
I've had this knife for a while now but never really liked the sheath that came with it....
I had this scrap lying round so I knocked up a new one for it...The leather is really tough and was very hard to stamp...even after a good soaking....The stamping is not very pronounced but it still looks a bit fancier than a plain sheath...
It has a nice wel in it to protect the stitch line and you cant shake the knife out even if you turn it upside down....very snug...
I dyed the leather ...It appears a chocolate colour but in light it has alot more light browns thru it as well...I just cant take a decent pic....
The knife itself I took a punt on ebay...
OAL: 8 1/2 "
Blade 4 1/2"
Handle:4" Ebony
Very sharp and hardy knife.
Kind thanks to Perry for tips and generosity on this one...
Regards...Pete

Good work mate. That knife looks to be a solid bit of kit.

Top job on the sheath Pete
Re: New sheath for old knife...
G/Day Pete, I had the same Knife, but with Bone Scales. I bought mine from a Medievil reinactment supply store. They are made in India and quite a reasonable little Knife for the money.
