I love the detail you guys have in making knives. everything that is created is just that little something to entice but way beyond the mass produced items.

looks great, adds to the personal touch of a maker. Always nerve racking getting the symetry right at the end of the job.

How about some info...what steel, length overall / blade?

Its 1095 carbon steel not sure how long but it is a bit smaller than the other one I made with it. :wink:

I put file work on most of the knives I make because it is a way of making something sort of arty but still funtional.I like to leave the forge marks on the blade because you just cant buy a knife like that from your local gun shop. :wink: I am getting a new hand made hammer in a few weeks so expect some more hand forged knives and hawks.
