Died in the Service

Got a joke too good to keep to yourself? This is where to put it. While all the other Campfires are expected to be reasonably 'serious' in nature, this is where we let our hair down.

Died in the Service

As we have just remembered the ANZAC's, I thought I would share this with you all
INNOCENCE IS PRICELES

One Sunday morning, the Preist noticed little Alex standing in the foyer of his church staring up at at a large plaque.
It was covered with names and small flags mounted on either side of it. The six year old had been staring at the plaque for some time, so the Preist walked up, stood beside the little boy, and said quietly, "Good Morning, Alex."
"Good morning Sir,"he replied, still focused on the plaque. "Sir,what is this".
The Preist said, "Well Alex, it"s a memorial to all the young men and women who have died in the service".
Soberly, they just stood together, staring at the large plaque.
Finally, little Alex's voice, barely audible and trembling with fear, asked,

" WHICH service, the 8:30 or the 10:30?"

Cheers All Roadie
