Edit own post

G'day Erron, the site looks good mate. Is there any way we can have access to edit our own post. It's a real bugger sometimes when you post something on other sites where you can't edit you own post and you read what you posted and think that you could have written that better and then can't go into the post to edit it...Glenn...

Glenn,

sorry mate, I though I'd enabled that? It sure is a feature, so let me go and check it out for you.

BTW, I agree: that was one the the things I hated about the Stickbow (great site otherwise). i use to post things like 'pus' instead of 'put' and then read it and go 'DOH!'

Let me look into to it,

Erron

Glenn,

I've set all permissions to PUBLIC for all forums except Announcements. That should anable you to edit. Let me know if you still have trouble.

I haven't really been reading my own posts much; too busy, and the wife keeps telling me to 'get off the @#$$%^ computer!

Glenn, thanks for the heads up. Good to sort that one out early.

Erron,

It seems that your Announcements forum isn't viewable to us. It says it can only be viewed by moderators. More work huh? :? Jeff

Another big 'DOH'!

and another big thanks!

thanks Jeff: I had that forum set to VIEW by ALL, READ by MODERATORS only!

Which meant you could see it existed, but not read it :!:

Aaaaaaaaaaaah!

You can see why I enlisted the help of a few friends before I announced this publicly, hee hee!

thanks again,

Erron

Hey, this is a big country

Seriously, you could probably hide out from Sewer Rat here, though I see he followed you in. Hasn't posted yet, guess he's afraid of you. Or maybe a certain recent showdown has him spooked?

Jeff,

can you imagine a hunt with those guys here in OZ?

that would be 'fun' eh?

Come on over anytime guys! To quote a famously ignored 80's movie, "What's the matter, Colonel Sanders, chicken?"
