post times and dates

I just posted an update then edited my 'glass repair' thread and it shows as posted yesterday rather than today, yet the date stamp on the forum is correct apart from trh DST difference. Thus the thread didn't move in the Active topics.

Jape, what does your time settings tell you both on your computer and in your profile?

I just now changed the time in profile to 'summertime' to match my computer time, but that was only an hour difference of course, when I posted the update to that thread, it showed a time yesterday, ie Monday 12.47pm instead of tuesday am whatever time it was (11 something).
Not a problem just wondered why as I have never had it happen before.
