Win a Dozen Broadheads!

#1 Post by erron » Wed Oct 12, 2005 6:09 pm

Woody (Alan Woodward of Outback Broadheads) made a very generous offer at the High Country hunt, namely, a donation of a dozen broadheads each month to Ozbow to be used as we saw fit :!:

After a bit of deliberation / consideration between the moderators and myself, we've decided to award the prize to the Best Thread or Best Individual Post of the month.

There is no particular criteria for the winner at the moment, but it would probably be fair to say preference will be given to either Hunting and/or Traditional type posts/threads.

Winners will be announced at the end of each month. Their contact details will be sent to Woody, who will contact them regarding delivery.

Good luck, and remember, you can enter as many times as you like  :D

Many thanks to Woody for his support!

:) 8)

Thanks Woody. :D This is indeed a very generous offer. 8) I'm sure we will see some spirited posting coming up soon. 8) :D

We should support Woody too. Next time you're thinking about buying some new broadheads, have a long hard look at some of Woody's excellent creations. I know I will. I hear on the grapevine, there could even be a glue-on broadhead coming up soon. 8)

Top stuff Woody, yet again showing your dedication the bowhunting and archery in general.

That is fantastic news. It is nice to see support like this. I assume that since there aren't any glue-ons, that means that they are all inserts, meaning carbon/aluminium arrows only (at this stage).

Also, I don't know if this is possible, but it might be nice to keep track of past winners in some place. Kind of like the "Best of..." campfire, but maybe a little different?

Anyway, great to see things like this come along!

This is awesome , I have a few of woodie's broadheads and I reckon they would have to be the best I have used. I missed a rabbit on monday arvo and the arrow went straight into a piece of railway line . The carbon was knackered but the outback was unscathed.
