Ozbow Access Problems

#1 Post by erron » Sun Jan 30, 2005 7:03 pm

If any of you have had problems with access problems lately, I suspect it might have something to do with upgrading to the latest version of Microsoft XP Service Pack 2. You might find a number of sites automatically banned. There is a way to go about fixing this:

1) from the top menu in Internet Explorer go to: Tools/Internet Options
2) click on the Security tab
3) Click once on the Trusted sites icon
4) Click on the Sites button
5) Under 'Add this Web site to the zone enter: 'www.ozbow.net'
6) Click the Add button
7) Click the OK button
Click the OK button in the next window

and you should not have any more probems. Let me know if you do:

very smart when you think about it........ when you have very little competition, why pay employees to "fault find" when the consumer can and will do it for you?! :D

sure it gets annoying but what are you going to do? run Linux that is stable but has bugger all compatibility with other software written for windows? :P

cheers

Easiest way to fix it is to un-install SP2. I installed it, buggered up a bunch of my programs, uninstalled, problem fixed. And what do you really gain from it? A crappy little firewall and grief.
