New Owners of Ozbow

#1 Post by outbackarcher » Mon Feb 09, 2015 8:44 pm

Hello everyone,

As you know Jeff has been looking for new owners for ozbow for the day to day running and administration.
Well Eddie (outbackdad) and I put our hands up and Jeff accepted our proposal.

A bit of background for those who do not know us, Eddie and myself and both live in Dalby, he is self-employed doing I.T. I am a starving university student studying I.T (you can see the pattern...)

The trad archery journey/enlightenment started around 2008, and I eventually found ozbow.net and soon talked dad into going to a shoot. He only got started because he didn’t want to be bored while I was shooting arrows, and soon outscored me every time. We try to get out to a hunt from time to time.

We will aim to administer the site in a similar fashion as it has been. I.e. a purely trad archery forum.

We would like to thank Jeff and Dennis for the work they have done on the site for the many years they have worked on the site. And hope that we can continue on providing the community with this valuable resource. Would also like to thank anyone that has helped over the years and hope that you will support us in the running of this site for everyone’s enjoyment and benefit.

All the best guys and thanks for taking it on it would have been a shame to see Ozbow disappear.
I am sure this site has helped introduce and support new trad shooters over the years and Jeff all the best with your future endeavours.
Cheers

I feel sure the future of Ozbow is in good hands.

All the best,

Jeff your selfless dedication to traditional archery has been inspirational to us all. I sincerely hope that you will drop in and make some comments on Ozbow from time to time. I also hope that you will now have more time to pursue your personal goals.

Many thanks also to Eddy and Lewis for taking on the often thankless task of owning and operating this site. I hope that you will find it to be enjoyable and rewarding.

There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Jeff, what Mick Smith said. Awesome job mate over the years. I feel a sense of sadness. Life goes on.

Don't forget to stay traditional and run a roll of film through the camera.

Eddie and Lewis, thank you for keeping the tradition alive.
