Velocity Meter In Lore & Legend

#1 Post by erron » Sun Aug 01, 2004 12:35 pm

Many thanks to Dennis La Varenne for his article on a Velocity Meter based on the original design by by Lieut. Cdr. W. F. Paterson, from his book, BOWMAN’S HANDBOOK, Technical Notes and Gadgets for the Practical Archer :!:

It can be found in the Lore & Legend section from the front page, or follow this link:

Thanks heaps Dennis! 8)

I have updated this after Dennis pointed out the maths was confusing the way I'd formatted it.

Apologies to Dennis and any who it confused.

A great idea. VERY clever.

Good on Cdr. Paterson and good on Dennis. :D

It's ideas like that and the spine tester that Hubris made that are GOLD!

Agreed Mick, and I'll have another article from the man who never sleeps (Dennis  ) up on the site in the next hour or so.

Stay Tuned!
