Five Thousand Posts

#1 Post by erron » Tue Apr 27, 2004 4:53 pm

A bit like 100 Green Bottles, I guess. :)

This post makes the 5000th. on Ozbow, something of a milestone I'd like to acknowledge and celebrate, albeit with just a bit of a brag. It's been a long haul getting the site to where it is, and we 'aint done yet!

Thanks to Gundy for all the work he's done over time on the site. Guy, it wouldn't be much without your considerable talent, and generously donated time!

Thanks also to all of you who post as well as read: without you folks, this site would not stay up long!

5000 up, may there be many more!

Cheers!

:)

And we just ticked over 200 registered users!!

you guys have created something of which you should truely be proud.

With a brother in the IT industry, i know how demanding on time this sort of thing can be.

I think i speak for all when i say a big THANK YOU.

thanks for putting in the time and effort to enable us all to come together to share views, successes, tips and general witty banter.

most of all, to erron, :) , thanks for putting up with me.
you have been like the mother.................. i moved out of home to get away from! nah, just foolin'. I love my mum

with any luck, one day we shall be able to put a real, live handshake with this thanks. (if you can stand the thought of being in the same place as me!)

but untill that day you shall have to make do with dots on a screen.

gracias senores

Erron et al
Nice work guys, this site is now the only one I visit on a regular basis and has been the source of much info, laughs and fellowship. A big hand for Erron for all the hard work he does so the rest of us can enjoy it. When you get up here, mate, the first beer is on me. But it won't be bloody VB.

sounds good.

late june i am hoping to be in mackay visitin' cletus.

early july however....... the opposite direction. on the 4th july i will be in the Perisher valley skiing for a week.

i know what your thinking :) , 1. go in june - get a handshake, but, have to put up with buford's insanity. 2. go in july - no handshake, be able to sleep at night. :D

cheers
