Mate I use a Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS usm and it is weighty and awkward to carry but the photographic rewards are worth it.

Re: WTH?? I can't access the Black Widow site?

That's all I'm interested in, being able to put that arrow whe...

Nice new rig there mate, shame about the tub liner:(
It amazes me how they can stuff up something so simple, have never brought a new car and not had them forget something.
I bet if it their time being wasted it would be different.

What gets me is they can't repay their debt now so they borrow more to cover their debt payments and hope they can cut costs to reduce their debt. The interest is the killer, how long can this go on for? When in the US in January I amazed to hear that in some states the interest only on their debt i...

Re: Sharpening single beveled heads
I use a Lansky sharpener these days but used a file for many years, I also have a buffing wheel on my bench grinder so once I have them shaving sharp I just polish the edge after each use and there shaving sharp again in seconds.

Re: fox hunt
Hazard anything is possible but I would be very surprised due to the position of the fox when shot and the exit point of the arrow.
Ben I didn't break it the fox virtually ate it, I still have the arrow will take a pic.

fox hunt
Went out for a quick walk after a fox today, stalked in on a nice fox and at about 15m loosed an arrow from my Cajin lady and the fox dropped on the spot. I could see 3/4 of my arrow sticking out the front shoulder as I shot it through the back leg and out the front shoulder so I'm standing there th...

Re: go figure
One way or the other I had to get the Deer to move on, studying his position and the way he was lying I felt confident that I could get a shot away, I was not concerned with my horizontal accuracy only the vertical and I figured buy the way he was lying I would either miss completely ( shoot too sho...

Mate there only medium sized rubs will see if I can find some pictures of some big ones. Now this is where my dilemma begins, I would not normally take a shot a such a small stag, he is a little out of my "normal" or my comfort range for shooting at about 30 + odd meters but I have my new ...

After having a bit of a look about I ventured over to my tree stand, put on my harness and climbed up and got settled, sitting there the wind died off and a light drizzle began as the cold started to bite in. The drizzle turned to light rain, the wind picked up and then died off again. I could see t...
