Re: Twists and turns of life

Nephew,
As much as I think Hoyt missed the boat by not using an ILF as the attachment system, you have yourself a very very fine hunting bow...
It is a fine bit of kit , smooth , fast throws an arrow really well.

Re: string hits nose.

I switched to 3under and hit my nose now a fair bit ...

If you watch the best IBO Trad 3d shooters, John Demmer, Matt Potter, Rod Jenkins and even Ben Rodgers ... They all shoot with a small bandage on their nose

Re: Traditional Bowhunters Club of Australia

I remember it quite well . "Trad" was again in a bit of a boom stage , and even from way down here in Vic it seemed such a great idea . A place where the brotherhood of single string archers could play together ... I remember wanting to get to a "TRASH" shoot pretty badly though ...

and I agree with you about compounds. if you want to click a trigger and kill animals that you havent had to stalk, may as well use a centrefire. the only difference between the two is the rangefinder. I hope that was in jest . I find these types of comments tiresome and overtly negative . I would ...

I have been hunting and shooting for 35 years and never had a bow break on me ... snapped a knife or two , and seen a mates recurve blow up in front of me [ that wasn't fun ] ... I've had fancy laminated hardwood bows snap through the grip, non phenolic tips...

Very Interesting - Demise of the game council

http://www.gamecouncil.nsw.gov.au/docs/ ... Report.pdf

Looks like all hunting in state forests/crown land in NSW, if it indeed is to continue, will be under the aegis of others , rather than the somewhat tainted [ regardless of validity ] "goat hunters" .
