Or in simple terms - try it as you will probably not notice that much of a difference from a spine viewpoint but the greater FOC will be apprent. Thanks Graheme :wink: Thats it pretty much. It also helps shooters like me that tend to miss the target regularly....... i'm less likely to snap off a ti...

Hi,
If your referring to Olympic style archery, the usually range anywhere from 26lb - 40lb ish depending on the archer. The bows are allot longer than hunting recurves which aides greatly the ability to hold steady.

Gaz, Mate, i was planning to be there but a week or two out I had a high speed off competeing in a downhill bike race and overstreched the shoulders AC joint tendons some. Not the smartest thing i have ever done. :roll: I am still unable to draw a bow. :? Should be right in a week or two............

when i used to buy large lots of arrows and then seperate them into groups of physical weight and spine, out of a hundred shafts I might end up with 7-8 different bundles of matching spines etc. so however many were in each bundle, thats how many made a set. :wink: I once had a set of 5 arrows.
