I use bright red sign writers sticker material on carbon shafts for my compound, they work very well and locktite 406 sticks to it like nobodys business. The reason i do it is so you dont have to scrape old glue of the carbon shaft, cause they don't like it much if you nick them. That being said i d...

Thanks for the replies, my samick recurve had a elavated rest on it and it shot very well but it didn't look any good. So i decided to try of the shelf with a simple shelf and plate setup and am not at all happy with it, i seem to be getting eratic arrow flight. but i am going to try a better shelf ...

Shooting of the shelf?
This question is mainly for the recurve shooters. Do you shoot of the shelf or do you use some sort of rest, be it brush rest or a stick on one or whatever?
