Re: Refinishing and adding tip overlays Questions
Just a thought, I personally wouldn't bother with the tip over lays as bulking them up to take a fast flight string is killing the purpose of what the Hill bow was actually designed to shoot. If you did go down that path and finally put a fast flight string on the bow the extra maybe 5-8 fps you wou...

I like it Daryl, got a bit of character and nothing like an original design and colours client must be over the moon with that one. Must be good to know you can fill an order to the clients tastes, mine are only made for myself would be to scared to build for someone else. Still love making all my o...

Ian the noise issue with your Hoyt Buffalo may have been the wooden limbs screaming at the metal riser to take some of the shock away, pretty obvious the metal riser didn't listen.

Interesting Darrel, just hope they don't get into the Chital Deer which are on the Island as well. I guess since populating the Island (human wise) the population of wildlife has grown dramatically with the abundance of food and water now available to them. Worked on there for a few years a little w...

Sage you might find it difficult getting a decent bow in your poundage, try( RMSG bow inventory) its in the states but has a lot of top end bows in the lower poundage and smaller lengths. The prices are good even though you pay a little for freight there just might be one you like. If not a few bowy...

Stu, great looking bow, it must be super light with that silky oak riser. I have a heap of it but mainly use it for my wood turning never really thought of using it for a bow. I like the black accent strip as it goes with the black glass you used. Congratulations on an new line in your bows. Cheers ...

Me 2016 Bow Finished.
Well me one bow a year has finally come to for. After the last recurve I made come in to light for a hunting bow it was time to ask the bow building Gods for a little more poundage and they didn't disappoint this time around. I don't think I will ever figure out the right recipe for stack thickness ...
