Thanks fellas. Please let me say quite clearly that I am not asking for monetary donations. Also I am not interested in paid membership as that is the quickest way to kill any forum IMO. Hopefully with some further tech help or a better web site hosting deal things will work out. Jeff Donations are...

Re: Recurve for longer draws
Thanks Graydon, not sure whether to go a take down or one piece, what do you reckon? Personally I prefer take downs Pros (From my point of view) Riser weight (dampening hand shock) Rortable Able to change limbs Bow quivers have less effect to the balance. I do admit the weight is much more than a 1...

Will you do an 80#? He already has  I reckon he's up to the task no problem DSCF2336 aaa.JPG This is a takedown as you can see but I don't reckon that would hold him back 80# @28" with this particular bow I draw 29 1/4", even when I have drawn it past my draw length I have notice...

Re: Well I reckon its Cactus
Great Plains that is an expensive well regarded bow. Mate I agree, I really enjoyed this bow and I really cant fault its performance. Perhaps what you need to do is make a new limb/set of limbs or have you considered modifying a a new set of limbs to suit the 'Great Plains'? Yes thats already being...

Well I reckon its Cactus
My great plains hasn't been used much of late as I have another bow I usually reach for first, so I went to let a few arrows go with him today . Its a take down recurve and noticed a dirty great crack on the limb as I was putting the stringer on. This crack is on both sides of the top limb. ...

Re: Single bevel 190gr concord
I shot the 190gr concord's at the broadhead range at the gathering this weekend. I shot one into a tree on the first shot  , with a fair amount of twisting and jerking. Some tree hacking with a hatchet and finally got it out, it had a slight bend in the tip, but easily straightened with a ham...
