Re: Black Widow PCH-X Limb finish

Have sent a email to them and got a reply a few days ago from Roger Fulton saying they would need photo's and asking to ring them, so I sent a photo and asked were they are in the US to know what time to ring.

Hi All Have just been doing a bit of my usual evening practice and blew of a nock .I have been shooting Goldtip traditional 3555/s for years now and putting these aluminium nock adapters from 3Rivers in the back of them and using Arizona Z nocks. I am well into my second bag of one hundred nock adap...

Black Widow PCH-X Limb finish

Has any one had this issue with the finish on the limbs of their Black Widow.
It looks like lot of little bubbles in the finish on either side of the front of the limbs on both
limbs. The bow was made in 2010.They began to appear over the past year.

Re: What sort of butts do you prefer?

Here is an idea we use for our 3D shoot to catch the misses because our club grounds are very flat and allows for natural looking shots. I have access to cardboard offcuts and we tape/cable tie them in about six layers and paint them with cheap brown and green fence paint camo pattern and then put t...

Re: Has this ever been tried?

Hi Mick I gap shoot but do it damned fast, I look at a target decide how much gap I need before I draw back. And because of the way I shoot, I always set my two blade broadheads in the horizontal position so that I don't gap my shot wrong by using the top edge of the blade. Maybe some color just beh...

Cascade Bunny

I spent about twenty minutes slinging arrows this afternoon at a blue milk bottle top pinned to my target butt with my newly acquired Cascade Golden Hawk Magnum. The new string that I made for it on the weekend had settled in and I was regularly hitting the bottle top at twenty meters, so of I went ...

Re: Just prior to the shot ...

When I walk up to the first peg Mick, the brain works out the distance and as I gap shoot it tells me that I have to put the point of the arrow about there in relation to the target to hit the 20 ring and then I lift the bow and begin to draw back in one smooth movement and when the point of the arr...

Re: Take down Recurve 60# @ 28

I have a Cascade Brushhawk longbow that has a few of those streaks in the limbs and I was getting a bit worried about them.
They are not anything to worry about you say?. My bow has black limbs and the streaks really stand out in a certain light.

Try stropping them over a round top post like the bollards councils put around parks etc
It breaks the grain of the leather and softens them a lot. Be gentle as you can tear the
skin if you go to hard

Help with A Game camera

Hi All I have a Ltl Acorn Game camera model 6210M and have had it set up on Photo + Video. What about 90 mm PVC storm water pipe from a plumbing supply or Bunnings . Make cardboard disc's to hold the shafts and tape the 90 mm caps on the tube or glue them on and send them in that. I have heard of guy's posting longbows in it.

Especially if you build your fire on top of a long dead tree stump as the fire will slowly burn along the roots under ground.
And it will take months and the fire can resurface with right conditions.
