Re: Re-Glueing
last weekend I went to the local boating supplies and talked to them about what I needed the epoxy for and came away with a 2 part epoxy called Epiglue... Opened up the delaminated bow and cleaned out between the fractures, mixed up the epoxy and coated everything up.I simply then duct taped the bow ...

Re: Instinctive shooting method-your way of taking the shot
I have always considered myself an instinctive shooter but after reading the first post i am not so sure...I consentrate on the spot,a few deep breaths and draw...Now at this point there is always something in my head that makes me adjust the shot, whether it is up,down or sideways and most of the ti...

8mm is quite a bit...I have straightened them using a paint stripper...you can get the arrow really hot without it starting to burn....

Re-Glueing
Some of you may remember my post some years back about my Martin Dreamcatcher de-laminating on one limb...I still have the bow and was wondering if it is possible to re-glue the lamination... It is still attatched some 8" from the tip...If it is possible what would the process involve and what ...

Re: Shipping once piece longbows within Australia
TNT wanted $80.00 to send a Longbow from Batemans Bay to Towoomba.I-Pec did it for $40.00....This whole postage issue is one reason I now only buy takedown bows...

Re: Nepean Bowhunters (Sydney) 3D Archery this Sunday 18th May
Dear Brumbies Country Sorry about the short notice on the 3D shoot, we will be having our next 3D shoot on the 15th June 08. There is cheap accomodation at the Sydney International Shooting Centre for $25 per night per person, if you don't feel like doing the long drive in the morning. Contact Clau...

Re: One-Shot Wonders and Highly-Sporting Warning-Shots...
Thanks for the reply Ben....Mick Baker is TB...Trophy Bowhunts...I had a few shots of that bow while in the cape last year and as I normally shoot 50-55# trad bows i thought I would have trouble drawing it...To my surprise it was a lot easier than I was expecting and really smooth to drawso I guess ...

Re: How Many Deer Makes a Man ?
I have been guilty of both....In cape york I have hunted boars, taken the ivory and left the rest...shot brumby's and left them as bait for future hunting days...I have also been in the situation where I have stalked in on animals and not taken shots, just being content in the fact that I was able to ...
