New set of hunting arrows on the way...

Bought 2 dozen Oregon shafts from Steve and Sue (Wallace Woods) a while ago...and with an upcoming hunt in July, I thought I'd better make a start on them. Here's the first five...unfortunately, there will only be 23 in the set as one did not survive the straightening stage... :( 3 x 4 inch feathers...

Re: A friend's lament

Our "fur friends" certainly do steal a large part of our hearts! I've lost 2 of my dogs over the last couple of years, and don't mind admitting there are times when I still shed a tear and look for them at my side.
They certainly are a man's best friend.

All good here, only minor damage. Busted fences, gate, a couple of water leaks, toilets and sinks backing up etc. Neighbours copped some damage. All of the family is ok and sleeping on the floor in one room tonight - away from the windows. Wind is still giving the place a fair rattle!

Re: Australia Day Arrows...Green & Gold

Yes Jeff, they are 4 inch shield cuts. I put 4 on this set (first time I've ever made a set with 4 feathers).

Due to the angle of the photo, we can't see the green on the opposite side.

Australia Day Arrows...Green & Gold

My latest set...intended to use them in Gladstone this weekend (Australia Day long weekend) - but the rain, localized flooding and blocked roads has meant that we couldn't get there this time... :(

Go the Green & Gold!

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie - Oi, Oi, Oi!!!
