Osage camp knife
I learned a few things with this one. Convex sabre grinds are harder to do than I thought. 6 pins are difficult to line up, 2 way tape is your friend. Should have practiced doing palm swells on something else first . Went to deep on the first one so had to make the rest suit but all turned out well ...

WTB bows
Finally in a position to buy a new bow but I could have to wait up to 10 months. Can't wait that long. I'm after a one piece or takedown recurve 62 inch around 60 pounds or a 3 piece takedown longbow. I have about $1000 to spend.

Camp knife chopper
This blade has sat unfinished for the last 12 months but I had a couple of rain days home from work so I decided to make the handle and sheath. It is made from an old leaf spring. I heat treated it as though it was 5160 and maybe it was . The 58-60 rc file tells me it's nice and hard and so does the...

Re: Pig sticker
Honestly I'll probably never use it to find out but the 60rc file skates along it without hardly leaving a mark.

Far from perfect but I like it. It does have a good heat treat though.

The stone has some rub marks on it from when I used it once on the blade. Knife is as new. Asking price is $250 bu...

I love the design and contrast of timbers in your bows. I'm in the market for a new bow and was wondering what sort of money would a bow like that set me back. Feel free to PM me,

Knife no 2
Well I just finished 2nd knife. After my work mates saw my first effort I instantly had an order. My mate wanted an old timer for fishing to replace the one that got pinched by a fishing buddy. The blade is from an old circular sawmill blade. Maybe L6. It sharpened up well and holds a good edge. The...

First knife
Hi. Just finished my first knife. I made it from an old single piece chainsaw bar and the handle is Danta. I didn't anneal it first so it was hard to work. I don't have a lot of tools so it's a bit rough but overall I think it's ok. I recently scored myself some big old circular sawmill blades so I'...

G'day mate. It does look like red iron bark. If it is it, and i'm pretty sure it is, it will make a fine selfbow.
