Lord your finish is a traditional work furniture finish. I have use it as many have in the past on furniture or internal wood structures. It is heavy,slow drying and can be tacky if you want a very traditional finish so be it. If you want a good quick reliable finish go with what has be suggested or...

Great stuff been using it for some years now, both fletching tape, Super glues work well on it. Bunnings are getting rid of it going to a Feston model, picked up a can for $5 the other day. I also use it on my knife handles.

Go to Leatherwall and do a search I know there was a white nock that was failing a while ago several wrote about it. Search under brand name as well.
