Re: serving
is it the bow in your signature? i've only ever used brownell No4 serving. i double serve and flie the nocks to get the desired nock fit. being a dacron string it is probably a fatter string than the 8 strand D97 i use so single serving might be enough. some people build overly fat strings to get th...

Wanted- part for GARMIN GPS 72
an odd request-
i have a garmin gps 72 and two of the buttons have fallen out. a keypad out of another gps72 or gps72h will fit and get it going again. so if you have either of these units that doesn't work or you don't use anymore let me know.

Re: Knocked up a jig, and first string.
looks good. do you serve the entire loop and end serving in one go or do you serve the loop and the end serving separately? i serve the whole loop in one go.
any reason for 12 strands other than nock fit?

catwhiskers. they are rain proof, snow proof and won't pick up any burrs. just more practical for me.

Re: Water Filters, Chemicals or Sterilights, what do you use
sawyer inline is what i use. it is on the hose on my platypus bladder, which has a detachable hose. this allows you to use it like a straw if needed to suck water out of tight spots. i can carry a second bladder and gravity filter the 'dirty' bladder into it then refill the dirty bladder for a total...

Re: Extreme/Super Recurves.
i have a border black douglas hex6. it's very impressive for all shooting characteristics. i have the brace set at 6 7/8", it seems to like it there. anything under 6 1/2" i start getting a little armslap though others do have it set lower than this. i have a 26" AMO draw and this bow...

i was feeling sarcastic when i saw this thread. in this age a BH made from a beer bottle would be absurd to most.

Re: Asking permission??
good point. i guess it depends a little on what the target animal was for the poison in the area. most commonly in my area it's for dogs, foxes and cats which means meat baits and it's unlikely herbivores will be contaminated by that type of bait. pigs in the area i wouldn't present as dog food thou...
