Looks like a comfortable shape handle on the blade Perry. not much I can say about the leather work as it is always outstanding. I have a similar length knife I use for knocking out pig jaws but it is strapped to my day pack as you said they are to heavy to carry on the hip. Good to see you back int...

Dave and Daryl thanks for the advice, will give the areas indicated towards the handle a bit more attention and see if it changes anything, what have I got to loose hey. bstan I usually just file the ends with a file so they are blunt to start with, stops them sticking into logs and stumps as well.

Update of where I am. Have cut and rasped the blank to shape. It has about 1/2 inch reflex in it to counter the string follow I hope. Alright the guts. The bamboo backing is not very even through the blank, I tried to start at about 8mm in the middle and half way along the limb 6mm and the tip about...

Had a look at this thread as have wanted to give the same bow a go. Am going to have a crack at one and just plain see how it turns out. Have no idea what I am doing have cut some boo for backing some spotted gum for the belly and left plenty on everything with the principle I can always take it off...

Daryl all the men must be at the bar drinking rum. Observation/ the lady in the dark dress centre has her arrows tucked in her rear bun while the other two centre Ladies are both wearing back quivers very interesting.
