Re: North Burnett Trad weekend 5/6 Aug 2017

Thanks for all the effort the club put in, it was a great shoot. The novelty side of the course was great with a lot of different shots then the norm. Thanks to all the ladies who put the meals together and ran the running shots around the course. Thanks again and look forward to next year. Cheers W...

Re: HVTA "Gathering" 2017

I for one long for the day that someone comes up with a trad shoot that has no scoring what so ever. You know like the old days when it was actually a gathering of Traditional archers coming together in friendship and all things bows and arrows. The passing on to the younger generation of all things...

Re: Wayno's Justastik arrowcraft UPDATED June 2017

Hey Guy is good to hear from you my friend. Hunting no have dropped back to 3x4 inch low cut shield to stop the noise especially on the deer as its hard enough to get enough speed from the trad gear let aloan the buggers pin pointing the arrow from the noise of big banana cuts.

Re: Wayno's Justastik arrowcraft UPDATED June 2017

Was getting a little low on arrows yes it dose happen to us all. The best thing I find to any new arrow makers out there is just how accurate and matched you can actually make wooden arrows if you just don't rush the process. I shot all my remaining arrows I had left in my quiver for my longbow. Pic...

Rod very nice work all round mate. Gotta love that conkerberry makes all other timbers stand out as well as the colour it producers by itself. Am jealous of the arrows as well some valuable time spent on them by the looks of it. The grind on the knife looks the goods and is always good to see wood i...

What a great weekend, great courses, great company, great hosts simply had a ball. The clubs grounds give it a real hunters atmosphere and it is hard to believe you are right at the edge of town. The three courses wove there way around the hill side and granite outcrops giving every shot its own cha...
