Re: Buy an Australian Wooden Flatbow?
Although a little unclear whether you are wanting a Selfbow or a Laminated Flatbow ?? I can recommend Ausbow Industries in Goolwa SA for a Finish Yourself Blank to save money [and incidently I have a Woomera that I may offload soon but 48#] Otherwise Norseman Bows in NSW offer self bows [reinactment...

Re: Hoyt Formula Limbs on a 19" Buffalo Bow - Draweight Calc
Ian I do recall hearing that Hoyt ILF is a little different to conventional ILF around everywhere.
Never checked it but heard somewhere, would think that Hoyt onto Hoyt would be fine I assume ??

Re: Hoyt Formula Limbs on a 19" Buffalo Bow - Draweight Calc
Hi Ian, Not sure if Hoyt has its own formula on this but the general ILF rule is that limbs are rated _ _ _lbs @ 28" on a 25'' riser and that's for Olly type limbs. Some manufacturers [Tradtech etc Buffalo] rate their limbs on a 17 or 19 " riser and that's for Field/Hunting type limbs. If ...

Re: Any black widow long bows for sale? .
Hi Stubbs,
I have an A&H ACS 2pc for sale on the other Oz Bowhunting Forum right now with pics.
Admittedly its not BW but I have owned both and can tell you the A&H is a far quicker bow.
Am moving towards longer recurves due to back condition hence I am selling it.
Cheers Shaftcaster-----

COLS , yes that would be a Samick I am sure.
I owned a few back in the early 90s, for what they were ,well made, and take down and nicely priced.
Mine were far too heavy to enjoy much

Hey thanks for your good words Pete !!
I am not really pushing the BW yet, but occasionally mention when someone posts they are looking.
Reality is what it is , and 45--48 is my max nowadays

Re: Call to TAA for hybrid/semi recurve division.
I shoot all types myself and a modern longbow is my latest favourite. Here in WA opting for Trad Division within ABA is entirely decided by arrow choice [ie. wood arrows decide] . I am assuming this is Oz wide ???? Whenever I hunt and shoot with recurve buddies I will shoot alloy and enjoy this also...
