Re: Baiting ferals into shooting range

Jape I have killed plenty of animals legally with a rifle over the years but I never took any pleasure from doing so, it was just work. I do enjoy hunting with a bow as it is a way of life for me, the part about bowhunting I like the least is the actual killing of the critter. If I could catch and ...

Greybeard makes a Takedown Longbow...The one he made for me is a 2 piece,I don't know if he makes a 3 piece. The quality of my bow is great,it shoots well and is a joy to use...Shoot him a pm and see what he can do for you, otherwise there are probably other bowers on here that can help you out..

I spoke to a fella 2 days ago who has a hunting block up in that area and he said they have seen good numbers in the last few weeks...The doggers really give the whole area a workout and any pigs I have seen have been extremely flighty but they are doable if you can get everything in your favour...E...

Be sure to show us how you've fitted them out TEX and some photos of them in action would be great too. 8) It's funny how traditional archers often share the same interests. I know for a fact that we have many keen kayakers and canoeists on this site. It must be something about their basic simplici...

I spoke with a fella yesterday that imports gear from over there and said he has been caught a few times with items from over $1000.00...Even if you send them seperately but close together they can pick up on it and you can still get stung...

Reading that chart, does that mean a 310grn arrow will drop about 1.5 metres over 25m???  That seems a lot as when I am out shooting my arrows don't seem to arch that much...Are there lots of variables in there that they haven't shown or am i reading it wrong???

Re: Viper Long Bow made in Sydney?

I had one for a while that I bought off Crowscreek...It shot well as far as I could tell but it was my first longbow so I had nothing to compare it to...When I took it to the Cape all the clear lifted off it,I guess from the heat but didn't seen to effect it's performance.
