Rain Vanes are a product name from Bi-Delta (I think that the company name)
They are a soft plstic that can be shot off the shelf.
Never tried them myself.

I just use a steel.
Have tried serveral methods (including the file and a lanksy) but find the steel easier, quicker and for me is the best way to do at home or in the scrub.
