Re: Rudd Bonus
I think I've already spent it, isn't that what credit cards are for. So, I did my bit to prop up he economy by spending on my credit card, then now the economy can prop me up with a payment - which I can then go and prop up the economy by spending it - hey this sounds like fun. Now what should I buy...

Re: Sue's Bow Covers
just thought I should mention - this new line of bags is not yet on the web site. I shall correct it over the weekend.
Dennis,
I'll have a go at doing the limb covers too. It's rainy at the moment so it looks like indoor activities this weekend.

Re: Leatherwood?
Here is some information from Wood in Australia - Keith R. Bootle.
Eucryphia lucida - a small hardwood of the high rainfall areas of western Tasmania. Texture very fine and even. Grain usually straight. Moderately easy to work. Turns and glues well. Good for steam bending.
have fun.

Re: ABA TRAD Rules
Having just ploughed through this thread, I started to realize something – we usually only shoot at the Trad Tournaments at which you get 1 shot, at give or take 30 metres. What do you learn from having just this one shot, maybe missing and then walking away? Nothing! Perhaps changing the for...

Re: Instinctive shooting method-your way of taking the shot
Hey Stephen I had a bit of chuckle when I read your first post - very discript and apt indeed, my Steve and I have similar little "finding" problems, and yes I can seem to multitask when I need to, but the thing is sometimes when shooting, and the mind starts a wandering about other things...

Re: Tapered shafts and speed dipping tubes
Hey Gail,
Yep you're overthinking again, if you've got the proper tube and gaskets the hole will just close over where the arrows are thinner at the tapered end.

well first of all you wonder when the rain is going to stop. The Sunshine Coast has been awash of late with severe flooding all other the place. I was living on an island for a little while but it wasn't for too long before we rejoined the mainland. So what did we do - well we put on the gumboots an...

Hi all,
I just thought I'd share this with everyone. There will be some happy campers when they all get their new arrows tomorrow morning.
Good thing we've got a ute.

gosh don't you just hate having to choose. We missed the Tully shoot to go to Geelong last year, so I thought great Tully is October this year, Geelong is (fingers crossed) in September - we'll go to both. Wrong - sorry Leigh looks like it'll be Tully and Caboolture in October this year. We will def...
