well for me neither i have tryed both & cant get used to either one what works great for me is medical tape around the tips of my fingers . so at the end of the day it is what work for you the best

Hi Buzz the limbs are bamboo the riser is black action wood & im not sure of the hard wood in it as well i think it mite be Burdekin plum

Great lookin bows you's have there. Here is 2 off mine the long bow is a "Taipan" 60# at 28" was made by the late Cliff Chew from north QLD & the recurve is a Raven "vanquish" 65# at 28" made by Dave Keable of Bauple QLD and i think it was the best money i ever spent
