Re: Handmade leather hunting shoulder-bag

Nice bag, when you say veg tanned, what method are you using? by the looks could it be tea leaves. Am somewhat into tanning at the moment so am interested in what particular "stuff" you used for this one as the commercial chemicals are expensive and probably not that good for the environme...

Re: Camo4u vinyl wraps for hunting truck

I have seen cars done in camo paint, but it was never meant as a hunting aid.
I do a lot of hunting from a car in very open country and rarely come home empty handed, I have no idea why you would want cammo for a car. it would just make it harder to find your car when  you park it out bush!

Re: New workshop

Thanks for the comments guys. It is lovely but has taken SOOOO much effort and energy. I think I will stick with a standard toilet. It is not as cool, but you can't take a dump in a trough. Steve I once worked in a shed where they had on the wall a fold down toilet in the kitchen, I wasn't a fan of...

Re: What poundage for a starter?

It is a great weight form me and would not like to have started with heavier. Tried one of long bow steves bows at 47# the other week and this was a bit heavy for me at this s...

Re: indian myna's

a friend of mine found a specialist designed trap for them on the net somewhere. He made it out of chicken wire and it worked a tweat. Of course it does not have the same rush as a good hit with an arrow but hey it worked and totally got rid of his problem. I don't have any around here for practise :(

Re: Bull Bars Under Threat

Do they take into account the fact that many families in australia are at serious risk each day if they don't have a bull bar.
Be interesting to see how it pans out this time around....

Re: Please keep your fingers crossed...

We are stuck in brissy area trying to get home to North West QLD. With 3 kids in tow we don't particularly want to risk driving up through Rocky in case we get stuck there just as the road gets cut. Have been stuck for a week now..... Tried to get out through Gatton last monday, hit a flooded creek ...

Re: Stickbow Hunter EMAG Questions and hopefully answers.

As a full on novice to the world of archery and trad archery I stumbled across "stickbow hunter magazine" in an online search for trad things. It was so good to flick through the archived issues and the fact that it was mostly aussie content was awesome. yes there are a few printed magazin...
