hi I can hook you up with a Ed Kramer takedown longbow that is 87# at 27" so it should be in the weight range you would like and it's 70", nice and smooth. A perfectly good bow to hunt with too. PM me if you are interested. It is a lovely bow, secondhand from a mate in the US. approximatel...

SOLD
Hi I am regretfully selling my Wapiti Take down. JK Chastain makes a very quick recurve and this is no exception. Loves heavy arrows, can shoot 750gn VA arrows out of it like darts. B50 string, NO FASTFLIGHT, it still smokes arrows though, it's a very quick bow. At 58" AMO she is a short bow an...

Re: Maremma Pups Livestock Guardians
What a handsome looking dog. Well sized too. I would get one for my brother who has a problem with people walking in to his house uninvited. The only thing that stops me from getting one for myself and him is the heat up where we live would be too much for them I think.

I have a Bear 'Victor' Tigercat in very good condition. It's 55# @28 Will trade you for the longbow and throw in a good canvas AOS bow cover, and strings. She is a bit old (1970's) but a great shooter in fantastic condition. PM me if you are interested.

Re: If u need archery products let me... Here my offer
Hi Cody, I thank you for your offer to help and I can see one way in particular that this might work to the advantage of us Aussies. There are plenty of one piece longbows in the US available for very reasonable prices, old Howard Hills, Sentman's, St Charles, etc etc To ship these bows as one piece...

Australia Post = Bah Humbug! My local Post office must have really scraped the bottom of the Aust Post employment pool barrel, although I fear that this is pretty much indicative of the organisation as a whole. That said, I have mates who work for Aust post and they are too shamed to use it in a pic...

Re: The 'darkside' bows thread
Steve, Oneida's made after 1987 are all fastflight compatible. The Screaming Eagle was the first Oneida bow to be fastflight compatible, it came with micarta 're-inforced' limb tips. One trick that many people use is to use B-50 strings on the fast flight compatible bows as this is thought to make t...

Re: mods this thread has changed and grown, move it or delete?
P.s How do they hot them up? Materials for the rubber bandy bits that attach to the power cable yoke have changed a bit since 1987. I'm not sure exactly how much this change affects performance, more likely to affect longevity I believe. Like most bows, the 'hotting' factor comes down to fine tunin...

Re: withdrawn from sale mods please delete
I don't mind if we keep this ramble going gundy. Maybe the mods can move it to an appropriate section of the forums? Or we can start another thread on bows of the 'dark side'. They kind of sit somehwere out there by themselves. Jape mate, I am going to keep the Screamer to pull out at meets and inna...

No worries Steve, if you are going to bring up Oneida in any archery forum except monsterbows or the oneida forum you better be prepared for some taking of the proverbial pee.
I was prepared for it LOL.

Re: Tradtech Carbon/wood ILF medium recurve limbs 50#
Nothing sharp mate, although I can never get enough of the pointy and sharp thingies. I have found a pristine Oneida Screaming Eagle SE600, been completely rebuilt by someone with a passsion for these bows. Faster better stronger more reliable etc etc I know Oneida's don't usually get much sympathy ...
