Re: Archeress is lost.

Usually there's a good crowd camping the grounds are small so the earlier you get there the better chances of a nice Camping spot.

Re: Archeress is lost.

We'll see you there Kelly, Trilam bow i don't expect would be a problem it's a trad shoot, targets usually mixed distances out to 28 and a couple of moving targets, I am pretty sure you'll need field or target points so you don't destroy the targets. Make sure you make up some Flu'Flu's for the bowb...

Re: Help selecting weight of heads to tune stiff shafts

Mate at 45# probably should have gone 2016's with 125 grain Field Points, I used to use 2117's with 175 grain Field points out of a 60lb recurve: 2118 is a very stiff shaft probably about a 250 to 300 spine if you can get 200 grains up front and leave the shaft as long as possible you may soften it ...

Re: Cash or Prizes to promote Trad events

If your playing for cash and not the love of the sport and participating your just no playing for the right reasons and unhappy chappies and getting all serious and wound up about winning is the last thing i would ever want to see at Trad events.

Just my two bobs worth.

Roadie even if your concerns aren't valid in this case (which they may well be) your comments give me a flashback to "Compass" there is a history of this going on, you may just be on the money mate.

Re: A Death in the Family!!!

Condolences, I have lost two in similar fashion in my family and even today it smarts and can occasionally get a little dust in the eye when you dwell on it. keep the organs on ice and pray for a successful transplant with a caring surgeon to ease the pain.

Re: Should the Burqa be banned in public places?

Moreton your entitled to your opinion; you remind me of a Union rep looking to stir for a good fight even if there isn't one to be really had at the time. Everyone is entitled to their own religion, persuasion, fashion etc. Identification of an individual to bring to justice; believe it or not becom...

Re: Should the Burqa be banned in public places?

We banned wearing a motorcycle helmet into a bank some time ago for the obvious reasons, it's in the same category. Although a majority of people are honest and sensitive to a cultural belief, religion, or persuasion and can empathize the concerns of those choosing to wear the burqua history can't b...
