3 fingers under with the nock at the corner of my mouth.

This only changes on very close shots where the nock sits just under my eye (shots of 5m or so)

Re: Third week, third question

3 under and glove Tried shooting split first when I was a kid. Tried 3 under 6months ago and it felt much more natural and the arrow appears to follow my eye better . Glove over tab feels more secure to me, but I agree it does make plucking more severe. Any body tried a thumb release with a longbow ...

Neither are you naming any other type of bow mate. D/R is not a type of bow but a limb design!!!

Jeff

so what do we call a bow with D/R limbs other than a D/R bow?

Re: The carbon shaft dilemma

HI graham, I'm purely speaking from my limited experience regarding time. i unfortunately am one of the stupid people that work WAAAYYY to much to keep the wolves at bay. I've found that cutting, cleaning, fletching and tuning carbon shafts takes me WAY longer than even a basic set of timbers does, ...

I'm a trad new guy and I'm shooting carbons with the fake wood finish. For little john I'm shooting the CX heritage 500spine and they are 10.11grains per inch and fly beautifully out of my 50lb longbow (total arrows weight is 520grains) I'm in the process (slow) of building up my 1st dozen timber sh...

Advice on a little bow for the better half

Hi guys, Was hoping you could give me your advice. My wife has enjoyed using some cheap training bows at the local club and I'd like to surprise her with a bow of her own. What I know: - Left eye dominant - wants a trad style recurve either 1pce or 3pce - around 25lb and draws around 26" What I...
