throwing tomahawks

well I know I've been doing archery for a while and go to a lot shoots, but have never had a go at axe or knife throwing, and someone asked me the other day about the type of tomahawk required and I have no idea.
Help I need some info - where does one get a throwing axe?????

there will be a flyer posted here shortly - yes there is a few from the sunshine coast going - it's a trad shoot only, timber arrows, 3D targets, held over easter at Yatala.

Steve and I are heading north Thursday morning, to get a good spot pegged out, so look out for the red ute. I'll a peg out a flat spot for the aussies and the kiwi's can sleep on the slope - heck they're used to it. Have spoken to Bill and will throw in a few extra bits and pieces, just in case. not...

cheap air fares - fly into Hamilton or Auckland NZ - (almost the red eye flights) but for $165 out of Brisbane each way, check out Freedom Air.
Just have a few details to iron out - you know, like gee, getting a birth certificate and then a passport.......

thanks guys - I've just brought him home - the pain is still being managed by pretty heavy pain killers, but at least he's comfortable.

just a little addition to the shoot post - the shoot is 3DAAA - all archers are welcome, members and non-members of anything......if you're not a 3DAAA member you pay a bit extra for insurance.
