Re: Am I getting old and senile?

I wasn't wearing my glasses and sprayed clear lacquer into the lock of my security door because it was the same colour tin as the spray oil , another time I sprayed home brand fly spray onto a hot frypan thinking it was spray on cooking oil , again no glasses and same colour tin , mate was staying w...

"However what we dont get to feel is that excited chase the posty everyday experience when waiting for a new bow to come in the mail." I have to agree with that , anticipation is one of the main things with buying some thing new but I have to say that as a bowmaker having customers send me...

Re: Motorcycles to gain access to remote areas

I've used both trail bikes and quads and both are fine in the right situation , but both have drawbacks , when I used to hunt on black soil the bike was fine but when I started hunting more on desert blocks where sand was most prevalent it become more tricky and down right dangerous at times , due t...

Re: The Communal Village

Most of the communities of this type I've heard about over the years have failed because they work on the idea that every one has the same say in what is going to happen with out a strong leader to have the final say and it doesn't work , then there are the ones that have a strong leader with a char...

Re: Bow Licence in NSW???

I think the new legislation making knives controlled weapons in Victoria is an example of where you can. The law is ineffective and always will be ,, it's just about being seen to be doing some thing with out really doing any thing rather than really addressing a problem I think it more a form of s...

You can't legislate against stupidity and there will always be some clown taking a shot at a roo , licencing or not it will happen , there are always dickheads about , just like the clowns that drive at roos on the road Legislation doesn't control the idiots , it only controls the people already doi...

I've been wanting to shoot this for the last several years but the muster tends to coincide with me either stuffing my back or or my shoulder , I intend to shoot this year as well but will have to see and unfortunately will have to leave nominating until the last moment , as it is I've had to sit on...

Hue The main problem with your solution to the mouse problem is that the cure tends to be more problematic than the original problem , Over the last several months here we have been having a minor mouse plague , snakes in larger numbers started turning up with the rains when we had the frog plague a...

Guy's I need some advice , this may have been asked before but what do you all consider the best way to sell bows , I know there are a few of us here who make bows on a regular basis mostly to pay for our gear and for our hunting trips and even some who are semi-professional so there should be some ...
