Re: Limb bolts

Kart shops......sometimes lawmower shops have also....the pressure washers and the bolts.....you just need to source the inserts to attach the limbs to the riser....

Bingham's Projedt

Hi there.... It's been sometime since my last bow building adventure... So I decided to build a new bow..... Went to Bingham's website and started looking for what I need......started noticing the lack of lots of materials....like black glass , certain wood laminations , riser blocks in certain wood...

Re: New Hunting bow "The BoSS"

Fantastic bow , beautiful job.
And I am a recurve shooter.
Is Sheoak a hard wood ?
I would think of it as a mid strength type of wood , not that strong for a single piece riser for a bow that heavy...
I may be wrong , I don't know much about wood properties , I always laminate my risers.

Re: Bamboo backed Degame [lemonwood]

Hi Daryl
Nice bow as always.
Where are you getting your wood from ?
With Lazarides closing doors It's been hard to get some decent wood or veneers here on the north side.

Re: Laminated Bow info.

Donald Assenheimer makes recurves using 3 parallel core laminations and 0.040 glass only.
No taper at all.
Great bows.

Daryl : nice recurves , again.

Re: Happy Birthday Curvemeister !!!

If you are shooting the bow on a regular basis , I would keep it strung all the time.
Not good practice , specially with radical limbs like those ones.
Good shooting.

Re: That is a lot of Deer.

Jindy I am not opposed to hunting with the purpose of one feeding himself. I don't like the idea of killing 1,2 or 3 species that were brought here from another continent were they were totally aclimatised and confortable , because they have to feed themselves. It 's just that after our ancestors st...

Re: That is a lot of Deer.

Jindy I agree that these introduced species do damage the fauna here the same they would do in any other place, even in their place of origin. They were brought here by our ancestors to feed us for the lack of natural resources in Australia at the time of colonization. Even some fish were brought he...

Re: That is a lot of Deer.

I am not against hunting, would love to go in one myself, but I belive in hunting to feed yourself and your family only. I belive it to be wrong to hunt for trophies only. Kill a boar for it's tusks only, because the meat is no good to eat, better kill a piglet ( a sucker) and let the boar alone to ...
