Martin Savannah Longbow

Hey guys, it has been years (at least 6) since I got the bow out so thought I’d see it there is any interest. I have, from America, A Martin Savannah Longbow, 62 inch, 45# left hand bow for sale. To get this bow from the US today would cost a minimum $1000AUD. This comes with the original string and...

Hey Guys, I've found that there is a new way to advertise books so I thought I'd give it a go to see what I could come up with given my limited resources at home and limited drawing ability... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dqqKYwvv2Y Please let me know what you think - feedback, suggestions... Re: Exciting times! - if you like fantasy novels?

Thanks Hue... keep working at it. You just never know. The book being published I started 14 years ago... yes, it took that long. But now I have my foot in the door - hopefully I'll get the next 6 over the line (it's a saga). 'Tallen' is planned for release in Dec just before Christmas :)

Thanks for the support guys!

When the book comes out will be dragging a couple of copies to every tournament I go to in the hope of having my own little trade blanket.

Busy times ahead I can tell you!

Re: Exciting times!

Thanks BigBob - as always hope for the best but plan for the worst. I'm not expecting to actually make any money as the commission per book sold is pretty small... so much so to make what I do working full time in one year I'd have to sell 25,000 copies! It was more of the itch scratching than anyth...

Exciting times! - if you like fantasy novels?

Hi all. It's been a while. That's because life has been busy! Aside from the usual work, work and more work some of my writing was actually accepted by a publisher and so, my first novel is due out next year in March! Needless to say I'm pretty excited. So much so that I've spent a fair bit of time ...

Re: mossies and flies

I think I'll give the detol and oliv oil a go next time I'm out and about. Bushmans worked for me in other places, including Egypt! but not on the Murray any more... With citronella candels, we had one, which didn't do anything, we figured perhaps next time if we tried that, we'd make a pentogram an...

mossies and flies

Had an interesting conversation at Lilydale that I can't remember the exact details of so I thought I'd open it up in the form. What is the most effective spray, salv or concoction to prevent yourself from being eaten alive by mossies and bothered by flies? I was up the murry at the start of Jan and...

Re: Ballarat 2009 Trad Shoot ****change of date****

Hey Guys, I'm looking forward to this weekend. I haven't been to Ballarat archers before however, and when I put the address into Google Maps, it shows that Hadden is south west of Ballarat. Is this correct? Does anyone have directions from Melbourne to the grounds? (or a map, either would do). Than...

Evening all. I've just opened up a new online business. But if anyone has a few spare moments, could you please visit my website www.nicheeclectic...

Thanks Mick and Gav, Mick, car pooling is possible, but I'm up at Craigieburn and I just jump on the ring road to head on down. Someone like Hue would cut straight through the city before getting on the Ring road... I can't say I know where most others live that would head on down there. Doesn't mat...

Hey Mick n Gav, Just to check, you do this every weekend in Geelong? I'm not a club member anywhere but I'm looking at hopefully getting to shoot somewhere once a month. I've fallen for 3D and if you do it in Geelong every weekend, can I come down once a month? I assume you have day fees and such? A...
