Jeff this is the smaller of the 2 from my grandfather.
It is 16" diameter and 6" deep. Needs a good clean which I will be doing soon.

Guy this might get shot down by the purists, mind you I have 6 camp oven in cast iron and spun steel, but for ease of use a steel oven is a good option. You don't have to worry much about the way they are packed. Their lid can be used as a frying pan. Down side is they don't hold the heat as well. W...

Here is the blade that came from the block.

Hi all been a little while. How is everyone?
I had a go at making a ladder pattern blade but I failed so I cut and restacked.
There was 28 layers of spring steel pallet strapping and bandsaw blade. I cut that into 6 and rewelded, now I have to think what to make.
