1. I think the strike plate thing is purely aesthetic, making it no better at what it does, which let's face it, is to stop your forearm looking like an eggplant. The only benefit i see in the plate one is that the backing piece is thinner, enabling it to be rolled and sewn on the edges, which hides...

Hi guys. I am gradually getting pretty happy with my recurve, and finding that i am more accurate than i thought i could be with no sights etc. to do all the work for me. Anyway, i am going to get serious about hunting pigs with it, as well as hares, cats etc. and next year: Deer. I don't understand...
