Yep, I would recommend the Casey Tru Oil. Just a quick rub down with the fine steel wool, splash some on a rag wipe on wipe off. Tiz great and Jay St Charles recommends it for his Pacific Yew bows one of which I have.

hidey hey and a hey nonny hee,

nearly time! counting down the hours, not many sleeps left. I getting the period gear out and pressing my hoise and braes, oiling the leather, waxing string & bow.

Ive the only Yew bow in the village! Hi Mate, Can't wait to have a gander at the Bickerstaff's. I'm getting pretty pumped about the shoot coming up. Normally we wouldn't wear our trad kit, but for this first timer I gonna go hey nonny ho!! bring on the GSH (great southern horde) :D
