ole silver, i tried to get up close to the cows for pics... but for some reason the started to run away :shock: so of coarse i tried to run after them, but then they ran faster! wierd huh :wink:

it is a bit of a shame we have to have these kind of arguments with people of conflicting views, i used to be against hunting, before i started archery and before i had ever met a hunter, or disscussed it with someone knowlegable. i think this is an important part of why some people feel the need to...

i only really wear this one hat, pretty much only when i'm out the club, although when i do wear it aroud my non-toxophilite mates, i get sum funny looks like i'm off tv (ignorance :wink: ) maybe its just teenagers hehe

for me, its the combo of getting out in the bush, a great, supportive, fun bunch of people, and the use of equipment that a machne didn't spit along with 1000 others exactly the same. its about apreciating the country and its people without all the other crap.

HAHA thats part of my release in my mouth, and thats my new bow, its 34# @ 24" bamboo backed . cant remember the name of the other wood. the poundage isn't to high, but she spits arras out real nice. Ron White made her for me =D

your deffinately not alone... i'm a little scared of home targets now as the first time i tried to use one i made myself, due to the low poundage of my bow, i ended up dodging arrows when they bounced off at me! dam those little buggers bounce off fast hehe

i'm in rathmines, we used to just go pretty close to here, had more luck with the crabs than fish, we went around pulbar island once.. didn't catch anything but saw a shark that was about 10-12 foot :shock: . parents sold our boat a while back as we werent getting much.. might have to nick someones ...

thats a nice fish! i'm a little jelous, the fishing here in lake maquarie was never great, well in my lifetime anyway hehe, i've been told it was good 30 years or so back. might have to go in search of a spot where you get fish like that :wink:

howdy all,
does anyone know anywhere within a couple of hours of newcastle, where i could buy some decent leather to use to make a knife sheath? or online is fine too. also how thick should i buy the leather?
