I also tend to agree with you DAD, hopefully we will always have the opportunity to hunt public land,but then Governments tend to do silly things,look at the HOG deer in the WILSON PROM National park,instead of allowing hunters(whether by ballot or permit) hunt these deer,they have had a poison prog...

The best way for any Government to stop hunting,is to ban it on public land completely,then hunting will only be on private property,with a large fee attached to it,this is what i fear will be the future of hunting in this country,just think if the government banned hunting on public land here in Vi...

Well can see further down the track only the rich will have access to this type of hunting,as the Americans are prepared to pay heaps$ to hunt then so will the locals have to pay big $,reports of numbers of Hog deer in the prom area,but these are being poisoned by the government,why not open up this...

I also have recieved some of the OUTBACK broadheads,have had no time as yet to try them,but have sent some to friends in NZ,they will give them a good try out.

I have been using Ribteks,Tuskers and now have some of WOODY's outback broadheads arrived i will try them out.

I would think that these knives etc would have to be balanced for throwing
don't really think a normal skinnning knife will turn the correct way, could be wrong tho. ,so buford dont use any more of your good knives.

Well after all this,it looks like we may as well go hunting more often,as we cannot win around the home may as well enjoy ourselves.

Hey and me also there Gundy,i will carry your bags,

Erron-the first picture of your old knife is the same as i have,have had the same one for years & years,it has done some hard work,( ,including the sheaf,),the sheaf has died tho,had to get a new one made.

Would be a great idea there OZLONGBOW, and hope the organized hunt with Griffo and the journalist goes well.

Forgot this one ,this one he made the handle with a combination Buffalo horn and sambar antler,he has made heaps more over the years,does a great job.

Here are some more photos of my mates knives,there is a large mixture of knives here,some with Sambar antler handles,and one with Buffalo horn/sambar antler handle,hope they turn out ok,he has one with a Queensland Hairy Oak handle,will try and get that one scanned.

same knife, I keep vaseline on the blade,this has a sambar deer antler,I have not used it much over the 10 years i have had this knife to scared i might lose it.
