Gundy has it right.......again ;)
D2 tool steel is described as an abrasion resistant steel, often used for cutting other steels. Its industrial uses include giulotine (?) blades, and 4' diameter circular saw blades.

sat 9-5pm and sun 9-4pm. costs $9 to get in.

Finished this one for Belinda (the missus) ....she wanted a large camp knife for firewood, brush-clearing, battling rogue Bilby, and making sure the toilet seat doesnt get left up, etc Its V-ground fron 3/16" D2 tool steel, and has a very "live" feel Thought i might share it with you ...

Due to the late start for the 2003 OZBOW knife, we will be taking orders until the end of Feb ( so people have time to get over the Xmas bills)

Ill certainly be doing my best to attend...... sounds like a great idea.
I agree that a "meet and learn" would work best for all....... 20+guys turning up to one venue to hunt could end up pretty unsafe simply because of the sheer numbers (not to mention freaking out the locals)
